16&17|02|19, work initiated

Hi guys,

in terms of adventure, I don't have much to report from the last two days. However, there are some updates regarding work.

Yesterday, we went to both locations of the 'employer' where we also worked at the port back then. At the first location, we introduced ourselves, but we met an uninformed lady who couldn't really help us. Since we didn't like the city and especially the orientation of the location, we decided to focus on the 'Ashburton' location.

Here, we had to fill out an application form, take a short test, and now we will receive feedback in the next few days. I hope we get a job. We planned to make the most out of it and work 7 days a week, 12 hours a day for 3 weeks after hiring. It won't be pleasant, but it's possible because the factory runs 24/7 here.

I'm very curious about the response. Today, we spent the day here in the city. The city itself is rather boring, but it has everything you need!😊

Unfortunately, this morning when we woke up, we had an unpleasant surprise. Unfortunately, one of the tires that hadn't been replaced yet was flat again. The gravel roads here are simply deadly for the old tires. So, I installed our spare tire and tomorrow when all the stores are open again, we will try to permanently solve the 'tire' problem.
