Norway trip May 26-June 17, 2022/ May 28

Today we continue early towards Mo i Rana, which will be about an eight-hour car drive. Barely have we started, we see the first cranes followed by reindeer and moose. We encounter an unusually large number of moose, five in total, and it is always magical how these majestic shy animals continue to fascinate us. The drive takes us through fjells, waterfalls, and beautiful smaller towns along the Finneidfjord and Ranfjord. Mo i Rana in the municipality of Rana is a city at the end of the Ranfjord, which is located just a few kilometers south of the Arctic Circle. The city has approximately 19,000 inhabitants. Our cottage is located by a beautiful river at a campground. Today there will only be a short card game, as tomorrow another long tour awaits.
