Keeping a single rabbit goes against the laws of nature. These mammals are constantly socializing and communicating with their fellow rabbits. Rabbits need variety in their habitat, such as grasses, bushes, or bark, to encourage them to gnaw. It is also in the nature of rabbits to dig burrows or even tunnel systems. Rabbits are not plush toys and are only moderately suitable as pets for children. However, those who enjoy caring for small animals and observing rabbits will truly experience joy when the animals jump with delight or nibble on the meadow grass tufts that were lovingly picked for them.
