Taronga Zoo & Darling Harbour

This morning fortunately there was no more smoke in the city. So we went straight to the harbor and took the ferry to the zoo. First, we got to ride a gondola to the entrance! We really enjoyed it - we were especially interested in the Australian animals (I was less interested in spiders and snakes than the rest of the family), but we also watched elephants drinking water and admired tigers from Sumatra with cubs! After 4 hours, we returned to Darling Harbour where we had a leisurely lunch. From there, we went to the shopping mall and saw the huge Christmas tree decorated with Swarovski stones in the Queen Victoria Building, which was over 4 stories tall! Tomorrow we will pick up the rental car...
