We leave Finistère and head southeast.

If you have read Jean-Luc Bannalec's books, you know the area. We are 5 km from the residence of Commissioner Dupin, Concarneau (Konk Kerne).

Our campsite is located in La Forêt Fouesnant. Here it feels even more touristy than usual. One campsite after another and seemingly only holiday homes.

Excursion to Concarneau

After only a short trip to the beach on the first day, we set off to Concarneau on the second day. The area is quite hilly and we are pitied by passing e-bike and racing bike cyclists for our mountain bikes.

We first go to eat and then sightsee Concarneau. The city has a Ville Close similar to St Malo. So a completely walled old town, only prettier and not quite as crowded and hectic as St Malo.

Apple trees for the cider

On the third day, we take a longer walk along the coast.
