Honolulu, Oahu (Hawaii) Part 2

After our adventure in Hilo, we flew back to Honolulu, Oahu, to enjoy our last week in Hawaii.

We experienced a lot during our second week on Oahu. Among other things, we visited the impressive Pearl Harbor. There, we encountered many historical impressions. We could enter the U.S.S Bowfin submarine and the famous battleship Missouri.

At Hanauma Bay, we snorkeled all day and explored the amazing reef with its beautiful inhabitants. The colorful small and large creatures were not really impressed by us humans and swam above and below us as if we were one of them.

We also enjoyed more beach days at Waikiki Beach and Lanikai Beach.

On the last day, we decided to hike up Diamond Head. Once at the top, we could admire the breathtaking view of the island, the ocean, Honolulu, and its mountains.

We arrived in Miami Beach on Wednesday. We had a whole 12 hours from Honolulu to Miami and first need to recover from our jet lag. Now we have a new time difference of -6 hours to Switzerland :-)
