Hey hey everyone,
Okay actually this was supposed to be a detailed post about my first job, but since the situation hasn't really improved since my last post and I'm in desperate need of money, I shouldn't talk about it on the internet just yet.
In general, I'm doing fine. I try to spend as much time outside as possible to distract myself.
Things I've learned in the 3 1/2 weeks that I've been in Australia so far: 1. Do not travel with broken things, no matter how much you like them! I'll have to buy new leggings soon because mine are falling apart. 2. The pill and three patches are not enough for a travel first aid kit. A wound healing ointment, disinfectant spray, and maybe some headache medicine would have been nice. 3. Just because I always wish for summer doesn't mean it's summer everywhere. So it's also good to pack a hat and some gloves in case of emergencies. If you're too stingy to spend 25$ on gloves, you can also put cozy socks on your hands, it'll have the same effect. :) 4. It's not worth $250/day ( $130 for a ski pass, $70 for equipment, $50 for clothes) to snowboard in the ski resort that's 30 minutes away from us. It's genuinely the worst artificial snow I've ever seen in my years of winter sports career. But at least there was a nice fireworks display during night skiing/snowboarding. 😎
So that this post doesn't get too negative, I have some pictures here:
