It is always worth going outside. We were surprised by how beautiful this place can be even on a cold, drizzly day. It is amazing how the sky reflects in the partially frozen water. There is a great hiking trail from the parking lot to the castle ruins.

Located in the idyllic Vogtland region, the nearest city is Oelsnitz im Vogtland, swimming is allowed, there is a great youth hostel right by the reservoir, you can rent boats and take beautiful walks, discover an old castle ruin (Ruine Stein), camping site available
