Today is my first day in Lima and I'm lying in the bed of my Airbnb. It was a long day and I'm quite exhausted considering that I spent more than half the day on the plane, I was glad when I could walk again. The flight was very pleasant, each seat had its own Netflix and we got quite a lot of food. 2 warm meals. The arrival in Lima in darkness was something else. It's just huge, because the area extends far far away.

Alejandra's stepfather, Pepe, picked me up from the airport. He had to wait for 1 hour because my flight was delayed. Plus, we drove another 1 hour to the Airbnb, but luckily he lives nearby. I am very very grateful to him. He could hardly speak a word of English, so I was forced to speak Spanish. It wasn't easy, but we still managed to have conversations. He was quite nice and sacrificed a lot of time for me. So now it's time to sleep and tomorrow Lima will be explored.
