Whistler

After two great overnight stays at a guest ranch, we continued today to the mountain town of Whistler , around 355 km away. On the way there, the landscape became increasingly barren, but no less impressive. At times you were just waiting for Winnetou to ride past you on Iltschi...

Well-known ski resorts in North America are located in Whistler ; the Winter Olympics took place here in 2010. However, we were greeted with bright sunshine and a temperature of around 20 degrees - not a single snowflake in sight so far!

After we checked into the hotel, we strolled around pretty Whistler and ended the evening with a cozy meal.
