We started the Grand Pacific Drive in Shellharbour. The road led through many small towns and mostly along the sea, the South Pacific. We enjoyed the drive and often stopped at lookout platforms, but unfortunately the view was mostly bushes and trees. The highlight was the "Sea Cliff Bridge", a bridge 665m above the sea.
The end was supposed to be in the Royal National Park, but it was unfortunately closed due to bushfires. So we decided to drive straight to the Blue Mountains in the inland. The traffic also increased as we were only 35km away from Sydney.
