Tromso Part II

The second day started with a cable car tour to the observation platform. It was a bit windy but at least we could go up. A magnificent view. From up here, you can watch the Northern Lights in the evening while enjoying a reindeer burger. After a hot chocolate, we set off for the descent. We wanted to go shopping in a huge shopping center. This was very successful. Afterwards, we explored the sports facilities. Tromsø is a biathlon stronghold, so we could watch the athletes shoot in the infinity pool of the swimming pool. In all the swimming pools we have been to, there was always a great "feel-good swimming area" and diving towers in addition to the competition pool and slides. Under the watchful eyes of Henriette, Papa had to jump off the 10m diving board again.

Afterwards, we went out for some great tapas and then headed north. We had some kilometers of country roads ahead of us and two small ferries that we wanted to catch on that day, because snowfall was forecasted. Everything worked out fine, so we stayed about 330 km before the North Cape.
