You can already see it ... most of the time we spent in Turin at the police station and at the Mercedes workshop. The Vito got a patch on the window and we had 2 days. Since I wanted to continue writing the blog, we had all the technology in our backpack and the thieves had to make do with my empty backpack, a little money, our spare car key, and (!) our toiletry bags. We were lucky.
We quickly left the city without any cream-krim-krams - just away!!! Sniff mountain air, escape the heat, leave the car alone without fear, have a drink to calm down, put on hiking shoes and calm down again ...
We went for a relaxed hike, with the 4,000-meter peaks of the Mont Blanc area in front of us, the sun at our back, and a break to bridge the gap between storms. The huts in the mountain villages are not only made entirely of stone, but the roofs are covered with large stone slabs. It is unclear how the beams hold them; they are much more delicate than in our new building. After that, we took a bath in the river. You don't need shower gel anyway, and there's no need for makeup in the mountains.
Now we're back in Turin and waiting for the workshop to call. Contact with the world was restored with Italian coffee. As soon as the Vito is repaired, we'll quickly leave Turin again, heading towards the Aosta Valley.
