Violent march along the beach πŸ™ˆ

Today we walked 19.6 km along the beach πŸ™ˆ. Our feet are hurting so much now πŸ˜–! Every day we spent at the beach, we wanted to know what was at the very end beyond the curve 😬! Daniela had to recover from diving today, so we decided to walk verrrrry slowly to the end of the visible section of the beach for us. We left around 10:30 am and really strolled 😬. After a while, we got something to drink and lay down in the sand 😊. Daniela actually fell asleep πŸ˜‚. But she woke up after a few minutes πŸ‘, so we could continue walking.

In between, we found seashells πŸ€—. Then two older people approached us and two stray beach dogs πŸ• were also lounging in the water. One of the dogs was lying in the shallow water and didn't care about anything. The man found it amusing and took a photo of the dog. The dog then jumped up and followed the man the whole time, and the other dog focused on his wife. Both of them were tackled by the dogsπŸ™‰! Sure, I wouldn't have liked that either, but somehow it was all hilarious and I had to πŸ˜‚laugh.

We kept turning around and saw that the people didn't mind the two dogs πŸ™‰.

It was time for another break for us. This time we sat down in a beach bar and treated ourselves to a fresh πŸ’coconut. Very tasty, I think I'm addicted to them. We also stocked up on water and continued walking. The low tide helped us save a lot. When we finally reached the last stretch and looked around the corner, we were a bit πŸ™ƒdisappointed. There were smaller rocks behind it, and we probably would have had to walk another 2 km to reach a wide beach again.

Well then, now it was time to go all the way back. I didn't think it would be that far πŸ˜–. Our feet were already hurting, but there was no point in complaining, we had to push through. The tide had also started rising, so we had to walk a bit higher in the deeper sand. That was even more exhausting. Then suddenly one of those πŸ•beach dogs came up to me, but apparently he didn't like me that much and ran away immediately. I was also about to dive into the sea, but luckily I saved myself from doing that 😬.

We kept looking at the time, because it gets dark here at 6:10 pm. It was already 5:26 pm and we could finally see our section of the beach. Phew, that gave us an extra boost. We could hardly believe that we actually made it before sunset. Hui, that was a violent march along the beach! We looked at each other and said, no, tomorrow we won't move a πŸ˜–πŸ˜œmeter!!!!!!

After a shower, we went out again and walked to the village. We were hungry 😜. The fact that my feet were still moving at all is a miracle πŸ˜‡! When we arrived at our restaurant, we ate delicious food there. Then a chili 🌢 smell wafted from the open kitchen and the entire restaurant had a coughing fit πŸ˜‚. We hadn't experienced anything like that before πŸ‘. Daniela said, I want to see that right away when the guy (who had ordered it super spiiiiicy) gets his food and eats it 😜! Well, what can I say, the idiot didn't faint from his chair, which was unusual! He turned beet red πŸ˜‚πŸ™ˆ. The embarrassing part: 'of course' a German! After dinner, we sneaked back to the hotel, we're so exhausted πŸ™ƒ!

Tomorrow we have another day at the beach and we booked an excursion for Friday!

PS: Daniela's diving post will be published tomorrow, it's not quite finished yet πŸ€—!

Best regards from us 😬
