The night was too short - we slept for a maximum of 3 hours. But it was a luxury hotel with a top bed, so sleep π€ counts double. The flight to Cartagena went smoothly, what's 40 minutes delay anyway.
Arriving in Cartagena, it was evident from the taxi: Everything is more expensive than in the rest of the country. We could already see the reason for this in the harbor from the plane: cruise ships π’. And on the way from the airport to the city, we already saw the first wave of cruise ship tourists: they were being driven through the city in carriages - very authentic.
After moving into the hostel, the first city stroll. I don't know if it was because of the lack of sleep, but I quickly got annoyed. Unlike the rest of Colombia, you were constantly approached here: Amigo here, Amigo there... Hats, selfie sticks, good restaurant, cold drinks, "have a look
