Baltic Sea Vacation May 2021 Day 3

It's 7:42 PM as I'm writing this report, and after a long and exhausting day, we are standing at the Campground 'Camping Fehmarnbelt' with a view of the sea! Very cool! So far, it has been a little odyssey.

Since we are traveling during the time of Corona, we thought it wouldn't hurt to have a negative rapid test with us. And since we are planning to do some shopping anyway, it was a done deal. So we googled the nearest test center and set off. When we arrived there, we were disappointed: Appointment only.
Since we don't know when the next appointment will be, we decide to skip it for now and go shopping first. After shopping, we google for a walk-in test center on Fehmarn and succeed.

Off we go on the highway to Fehmarn. After a three-hour drive, we cross the Fehmarn Sound Bridge. What a view!

I spot a sign for a COVID-19 test center and follow the sign. There are several other motorhomes in the parking lot. With a bit of excitement, we join the line and immediately ask the other people waiting if they made an appointment. They confirm... Damn, wrong test center again. So off to the next one. Finally, we succeed and get tested. Shortly after, we have our results in hand and drive to the northern part of Fehmarn to the campground. We have to wait for about 2 hours at first, because it's a siesta time.
Since we are once again the only ones who didn't book in advance (found out by asking around the other waiting people), we quickly fill out an online booking request.
The reception opens at 3 PM. Now we find out that we weren't even allowed to enter SH (Schleswig-Holstein) without a prior booking. Luckily, I just sent a request ;D. This request also helped us because it was selected from 300 other requests. Everything is fine and dandy, now we just have to pay.

Maybe you can already guess?
Correct, my debit card was not accepted by the card reader. So we had to use Annika's card.

But last but not least, we are rewarded with an amazing pitch less than 100 meters from the sea.
After we arrived and got a little oriented, we take a beach walk and enjoy the Baltic Sea.

For dinner today, we have a mushroom pan with vegan minced meat (we want to try it)

What a day.....
