05.12.2019 Isabela Kayak Tour

Today we actually want to climb a volcano, but without a guide, it's impossible. Even the taxi drivers refuse to take us there. So we decide to do a kayak tour with snorkeling. On the tour, we see, among other things, the Galapagos penguin, the northernmost species of penguin and the only one found on the Galapagos Islands. While snorkeling, we can observe sea lions and sharks. Afterwards, we want to see flamingos and explore the recommended places. The way there was a bit disappointing as the flamingos were far away and we could only see three of them. On this island, there is also a breeding program for giant tortoises, which we also visited. On the way back to the hostel, we were able to see a flamingo at a very short distance.
