21/06/2019 - Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park & Nusa Dua / Bali / Indonesia

From the party place of Kuta, we went to Sanur for one night. After driving our scooter for about 500 kilometers around Bali, we returned it. Today, we visited a relatively new attraction in Bali - the Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park. It took a long time to build, and it was completed at the end of last year. The park is dedicated to the deity Wisnu and his steed Garuda. The complex houses a mixture of sculptures, gardens, cultural performances, and a few restaurants. However, the biggest and most impressive attraction is the huge Wisnu-Garuda-Kencana statue, towering at a height of 120 meters. After thoroughly exploring everything, we watched a traditional dance performance. After the performance and sunset, we continued to the exclusive resort of Nusa Dua and enjoyed a local and delicious dinner at Kekeb Restaurant right on the beach.
