In the middle of the night, I lie awake trying to use the rarely functioning WiFi to write. Today, we left our beautiful accommodation to drive a little further. Our friends are in nearby Marseillan Beach, and we wanted to try and stay at the campsite as well. After 1.5 hours of packing up and getting the camper ready.... it's always a lot of work.... we hit the road!
After the quiet - very cozy campsite, we were a bit shocked by this campsite with a club atmosphere. Soooo many people - unfortunately, many Germans too! We had to move our camper three times because I couldn't decide on a spot while the boys watched football at the public viewing area!
Grilling sausages for dinner. Mika loves the club life and is with the other boys on the site going to the children's disco - ventriloquist and watching football. I wonder how long we'll like it....
To end the day, here's a poem by Rilke. I really like it!! The question I'm thinking about here again is: where and how do I want to live - just wait and stay calm - the answer will surely come!!
One must let things,
one's own, silent,
uninterrupted development,
that comes from deep inside,
and cannot be pushed
or accelerated by anything;
everything is gestating -
and then
giving birth...
Ripening like a tree that doesn't press its juices
and confidently stands
in the storms
of spring,
without fear
that no summer
will come behind it.
It will come!
But it only comes to those who are patient,
who are there
as if eternity lay before them,
so carelessly still and vast...
One must have patience
with the unsolved questions in the heart,
and try to love the questions themselves,
like locked rooms,
and like books written
in a very foreign language.
It is a matter of living everything.
When one lives the questions,
one may live into the answer
without realizing it,
one strange day.
[Rainer Maria Rilke]
