The last days in Cape Town

We spent the last few days leisurely in Cape Town.

We had an Airbnb right on the coast, but unfortunately without a sea view.

On Saturday, we visited the Neighbourgoods Market in Woodstock, which takes place every Saturday at the old Biscuit Mill. Since we didn't know on our first visit to the Biscuit Mill that there was a market on Saturdays, we were able to make up for it :)

On Sunday, we visited the Kirstenbosch Botanical Garden again, which we only saw quickly during the hop on hop off bus tour the first time.

For lunch, we went to the Oranjezicht Market before we had to return our car.

We were very glad that our car was a loyal companion without any accidents or breakdowns throughout the 2,000km Garden Route.

In the evening, we went to a great African restaurant with live entertainment. People played the drums, sang, and danced during dinner. It was beautiful to watch.

The waitstaff were wearing typical African clothing, which we liked very much and would have liked to have as a souvenir.

We asked one of the waitstaff where we could buy or have such clothes tailor-made.

Fortunately, there is a waitstaff named Irene who makes these clothes for the restaurant and offered to come by the next morning to show us different fabrics and take our measurements.

In the late afternoon, she messaged us that the skirts and turban were ready and we could pick them up.

This evening, we'll enjoy the sunset by the sea and then go to a very delicious Italian restaurant before our flight to Namibia early tomorrow morning.
