Hello dear ones,
After my rather mixed experience with L.A., I am currently in one of the most beautiful and diverse places in the world, Big Island Hawaii. The youngest and by far the largest of the Hawaiian Islands has eight of the 13 climate zones on an area slightly larger than the Saarland.
The airport of Kona alone is unique in its kind.
There I was surprised with a free upgrade to a Jeep Wrangler. Then I went to a wonderfully beautiful hostel right on the beach. There I quickly made friends with a German and a British woman in her fifties, with whom I explored the surrounding area the next day. Yesterday I set off alone to the other side of the island, with a stop at South Point, the southernmost point of the USA, where I hiked to a green sand beach. In the afternoon, I hiked through a lava field where lava is still erupting to the surface today. Unique, check out the pictures. In the evening, I arrived very tired at my hidden Airbnb. A open hut with a hammock. Dear ones, let the pictures speak for themselves this time, they speak more than a thousand words. I'm going to a black sand beach now.
All the best
Many greetings
