Outward journey - Departure from Bremen

And off we go... The day of departure was very exciting. As always, I started packing my suitcase too late and as the space became less and the weight of the suitcases increased, I became frantic.. But in the end everything fit and so I was on my way with two huge suitcases plus two carry-on bags. Arriving at Bremen Airport, the check-in of the suitcases worked great (even though my suitcases were slightly over the 40kg limit) haha. Mama and Lenny took me to the security check and now the goodbye had come. Of course, there were tears and I was very sad to have to go alone. Now a new phase of life began, in which I will gather many new experiences. My Turkish Airlines plane was already ready and it didn't take long for us to board the plane. It was very modern and there were televisions (but I didn't watch a movie). On the three-hour journey to Istanbul, dinner was served on board. I was asked if I preferred pasta or chicken. I said pasta. Then the flight attendant came back and said they only had chicken left.. so it became chicken instead of pasta. But it still tasted good.
