We spent the last day of the first week of our trip mostly on the train. We departed from Zagreb at 7:44 heading towards Vinkovci.
After 4 hours and 40 minutes and having breakfast on the train, we strolled through the streets of the 35,000-inhabitant city with our luggage. Due to our connecting train, we didn't have much time for an extensive exploration. So we settled for a short walk along the Bosut River. After eating two slices of pizza and buying two postcards, we walked back to the train station and continued our journey to Serbia.
At the train station in Belgrade, we exchanged our remaining Kunas for Dinars and found our accommodation, which is only 15 minutes away from the train station. Once again, we were welcomed by the mother of the absent host who explained the essential things to us in Hungarian.
After settling in our room and making ourselves comfortable, hunger struck and we started our search for food once again. Burgers, stuffed zucchinis, tiramisu, and cheesecake restored our satisfaction and our bed eagerly awaited us.
