The good news: In Italy, there is currently only a reduced obligation to wear masks outdoors: for assembramenti (a new word: gatherings). Here in Trento, where we arrived this evening, there are no assembramenti and therefore no people wearing masks.
The second good news: We tried our first Slow Food restaurant, the Locanda D & D Maso Sasso. The nettle gnocchi with sheep ricotta, the marinated salmon trout, and the rabbit (cooked at a low temperature, deboned, and then fried into a nice cube) were very good.
I know that everyone is eagerly waiting for the Baschenis frescoes, but for now, the Pinzolo Dance of Death, which is shown on the cover photo and which we have known for a long time, will have to suffice. Tomorrow, we will have schnapps, wine, Rovereto, and Trento.
