Jakobsweg 2.0

発行済み: 13.07.2018

18th July 2012

Today we started walking very early in the rain... the Austrian couple and I continue the journey together...

The concrete path greets us once again... but it's pleasantly cool today...

We continued to approach the coast and walked along a section of the beach. The rainy weather made the view very interesting. Somehow very mystical....

We could also observe the power of the waves very well... some surfers dared to go into the water and tried their luck...

...By the way, I also had good luck with my blisters... they are well taken care of and doing fine... we had even more luck at the hostel, we got one of the last beds available.

It was a very diverse day, after the coast we followed the path towards the mountains and I felt like I was in Switzerland scenery-wise.

What a contrast, the Atlantic and then the mountains, the weather was also very contrasting... in the afternoon it became quite unpleasantly humid...

Interestingly, my colleagues in Switzerland had a barbecue today... and realized that I was missing... somehow very nice and pleasant!!! Thank you for that!!!

I also met some new people, as my Austrian companion will finish her journey in a few days..., I will probably see some of them more often in the coming days... maybe I will even find a new travel companion.

It was a very simple hostel, but in a beautiful little town... some people were camping here, one person was traveling with their dog, in the evening I learned some new card games... it was a very social group, that was something that had been missing on the Camino for the past few days...

Tomorrow we will continue along the coast, and since it's Friday the 13th... nothing can go wrong...

See you tomorrow

The blog was somehow offline... now it's back online 13th July / 14th July will follow...
