A villa complex in the middle of a green oasis should be a school?

In fact, it is the green campus and the various villas that give the IGS a special look. Every morning of the week I ride my moped for about 1€ for 15 minutes to get to my new place of work. The frustrating thing is that you can hardly ever get across the highway quickly or easily, otherwise I could walk more there or back. Maybe things will turn out differently at some point along the way.

The entrance to the school leads through a banana alley, well guarded by the very friendly guards, who actually sit almost everywhere on the street corners and in front of many public buildings and spend most of the time loudly playing games or watching videos on their cell phones. (They sit there all day and I have never experienced an incident). They often greet you very nicely and are also happy to have their photos taken ;)

The villas are divided into specific classrooms and arranged according to the letters AH.

My experiences in this first week can be roughly summarized in the following points:

1. Classes are held in German and English (often depending on the subject or the teacher) but it is normal that most learners here speak 3-4 languages.

2. The lessons depend on the teacher and partly on the size of the class, although there are classes in which there are sometimes only 4 learners or 15. (Still really few children/young people, which makes it much more pleasant and every class is one-touch, which means there is only one first class, one second, etc.)

3. There are quite a few practices. This doesn't surprise anyone and the teachers are all friendly, helpful and have nothing against sitting in on lessons.

What unites the practice is probably the openness that brought us all here. We grow together quickly and go on activities and trips together outside of school.

4. There is certainly not something to learn in and from every class, but it often depends on how much you get involved or who exactly is at the front.

All in all it was a good first week. I've seen a lot, gotten to know a few people better and am looking forward to my time here. I already support 2 students in German for 3 hours a week because they have problems here and will probably give their first lessons in 2 weeks. Otherwise, I have a break supervision, the board game group and observation in German, art, French and ethics are in my timetable.
