42nd day, to Verona

Tuesday, 09.05.23, cloudy turning sunny, rain from the evening onwards.

The weather forecast predicts rain for the next few days. We had originally planned to continue our journey and visit 'Don Camillo and Pepone' and return home from Venice. The weather has been good to us for the past six weeks since we started in Seville, apart from some wind.
We have adjusted our trip a bit and took the regional train to Verona to explore the city. Neither of us have been there before, even though it's 'right on our doorstep'. Twin city of Munich, the Arena, and Juliet's balcony.

As we drove by, we saw Lake Garda. Some people claim it's not Italy but the parking lot of Munich. So we're already almost home😉. More tomorrow.
