Off to Futaleufu

03.02.2023 - our next destination: Futaleufú (back to Chile) 370 km

We were able to enjoy an excellent tea at the "Nain Maggie Teahouse" in Trevelin, Chubut Province, Argentina.

We had to cover the last 45 km to the border with Chile on gravel, and we couldn't go faster than 30 km/h. Our old Peugeot managed it and the view of the beautiful border river Rio Grande more than made up for the bumpy ride.

After about an hour at the border we were able to reach our accommodation in Futaleufu. A sumptuous dinner with my first Pisco Saur and of course Kunzmann beer in the "Rio Grande" restaurant was very good and also necessary.
