Where to today?
We don't really want to head home yet, but we have to soon because it's quite a few kilometers to go. We wanted to hike for a couple more days in Austria, but the weather isn't playing along at all. So we set off today. First destination: Maranello. I was so happy. Seeing the Scuderia Ferrari factory and museum. So many horses everywhere. When we arrived at the parking lot next to the test track, we got goosebumps because a Formula 1 car had just been on the track and done a lap. It was amazing. I was beaming. The track is in the center of town, so everyone hears it, even from a distance. The museum entrance fee is pretty reasonable at €32 per person, but I thought it was great. Seeing the F1 cars from the world championship years up close because you're allowed to get pretty close to them.
When we got back to the parking lot, there were 3 normal Ferraris driving on the race track, a little slower and with a lot of smell on the track, it was almost a little boring to hear that. Unfortunately you can't really see anything, but a little more than in Imola.
Then we went to the supermarket - I love Italian supermarkets - to buy a few things, because then it was time to go to Lake Garda. We decided to spend the last few days here, even though the weather isn't supposed to be so good tomorrow.
Of course, we also had the obligatory ice cream and a walk through Peschiera in the evening before we had dinner in the motorhome, as the weather had suddenly become mixed.
