Departure at 9:15 PM in Weil im Schönbuch (Germany)

Travel route: from Germany via Austria, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Bulgaria to Greece.

Germany - Austria border: 1:00 AM

Austria - Slovenia border: 3:25 AM

Slovenia - Croatia border: 5:15 AM

Croatia - Serbia border: 8:30 AM

Serbia - Bulgaria border: 1:00 PM

Bulgaria - Greece border: 4:50 PM with about 1 hour waiting time.

The times are always from the direct border crossing, after we arrived at the new country.

After a setback, as our pre-booking did not work out, we booked online at the hotel where we stayed 2 years ago.

Arrival at Hotel Erodios in Lithothopos: 5:35 PM

The journey went great and without complications. Thanks to pandemic fear, there was very little traffic.

Unfortunately, Greece welcomed us with a heavy thunderstorm from the border onwards 😉
