Hourtin Beach

friends of the wind,

This is the right post for you, because in the 3 days that I was in the Airbnb, the weather was consistently bad and particularly windy except for one single afternoon. I used exactly this and went to the beach to look at the stormy sea and enjoy the individual rays of sunshine.

I was also the only one who ventured to the beach and I have to say: it was really windy.

I used the other days to chill out a bit and take an extended visit to the bouldering hall.

On the evening of my last day in the AirBnb, I found out that my father had been admitted to the hospital. Since I had no incredible urge to continue traveling due to the weather conditions and in general and I was worried, I decided to go home the next day.

I did that too and drove 13 hours straight across France and was really looking forward to being home.

Therefore, my next posts from my travels will be more smaller summaries until I set off for New Zealand/Thailand/Indonesia in early 2023. I don't have a precise plan yet, but I'm looking forward to brainstorming a little.
