PlanLoser...XII 'the last days in west australia'

Naipablaak: 22.01.2020

Fantastic! Yesterday there was HotDog with Sauerkraut (22.01.2020)

Time flies by, and the days on the west coast are becoming fewer. We would have liked to spend more time in the south, but also Planer2.0 needs to be sold, and our time on the west coast is slowly coming to an end.

Just something

The further south we went, the more fertile the land looked.

The forest became greener, denser, and enchanted the drive. Every kilometer driven was a pleasure, like the wine whose name I can't remember anymore. I still have the label in my mind, but the name, hmmm :-( ... V. knows which one ;-)

The weather had the same style as in Switzerland. Cool, cold, wet... always something to complain about. ALWAYS... Weather is always a topic - today nice! Yeah man!

What
What's up?

Cold, colder on the coldest, and we dressed warm and warmer every day.

Anyway, thank you J. for the magic backpack and the great trust in the Sprinter.

It is exhausting to be on the road again in the bus day after day. Finding new places and finding something safe and cozy. Dare and find your own places...

But that's where the excitement begins...

Living on the edge of happiness with a drop of water, food, and sleep deprivation. Always the fear that the ranger knocks on the bus 🤷‍♂️ But nothing happened, NEVER, and every day becomes a pleasure.

The journey started from Safety Bay (our beloved home spot) and went down to Walpole.

We were so exploring that it just made us really happy and we came across really awesome places...

In retrospect, we would have liked to stay longer in Margaret River, a town in the middle of the forest. But you can't see everything, and afterwards you become wiser. Despite the 4-hour stay, we noticed the charm of this forest town.

We reached the highlight of our road trip in Walpole, Tingle State Forest... NeNeNe, no need for drugs, it blows you away...

It is time to mention again that it is difficult to capture the experiences and sights in photos. Mr. Marc would say: 'You weren't there, you have to be there to understand...' or something like that.

I don't want to deny the feeling of settling down, there is a sense of security, but if the view is shit, then it's not so good either.

The west coast is awesome. Every beach section, every bay is different, and there are plenty of them.

What a view

Not far from the above picture, as a passenger and driver, you keep your eyes open and you come across granite rocks in the middle of the landscape with a 360-degree view. You don't know why, but ideas are born there.

We are slowly heading back to our home spot where we will enjoy the last days and the Australian van life style again, as well as great kite sessions with fantastic 27 knots. The breeze is there, and the wind is blasting.

Barely visible from the cold vastness, but clearly visible with the 1972 army binoculars... the good old wild campers 🥳

On the way back, we were startled by a forest fire.

It is difficult to say whether it was big or small (no comparisons), but the number of firefighters indicates that it was quite huge for our standards. Amazing performance by those guys...

Now we're chilling for the last few days and looking forward to the return flight, onward flight... something new, and we'll be back in Brisbane on February 3, 2020 🙋‍♂️

Bye folks
