Exciting Day

Today was finally the day. The fourth child of my host family was born today. The little Charlotte Poppy is incredibly cute and sweet. She is so small :o. Mother and baby are both healthy and the other kids are completely infatuated with their little sister. When I held the little one today, I felt like a big sister. It's incredible how careful and gentle the children suddenly became when handling Charlotte. The mom will be in the hospital for five days his. In the morning, I made a card for the birth of her little sister together with Hannah. She quickly figured out how to open the pink glitter box, so before I could react, the glitter was spread all over the table. Now the whole house is full of pink glitter, including the hospital room. Let's see what the next few days bring. For now, I'm enjoying the short visits to the hospital and the peaceful nights, because the baby's bedroom will be on the other side of the small hallway starting next week. And this house is VERY soundproof.
