Day 2 - 21.06.2024 Flight to Calgary

On time with rain we went from Aschaffenburg to Frankfurt to myParken to park our car. With a transfer to the airport, we were there super early at 10 o'clock.

The flight was with Discover Airlines. We sat in the second-to-last row 45. Henriette and Martin by the window and Juliane and I in the middle row. The flight went well. We had booked a children's menu for the girls beforehand. We watched many movies on board ;-)

At 3 PM we landed on time - we were pretty tired, because it was already 11 PM for us.

At National, we then picked up the rental car, a blue SUV Ford Edge. All our suitcases fit in :-) Due to a 'Water Restriction' in Calgary, the cars were not allowed to be washed from the outside. But it was emphasized several times that they are clean inside :-D

At the Sandmans Signature hotel, we booked room 576 with a king-size bed and a pull-out sofa for the girls for two nights - unfortunately it was not prepared.

Henriette was exhausted from the flight and went straight to bed. With Juliane, I went to the pool again at 6 PM - her energy was still enough for that :-D
