Day 1 - 20.06.2024 Stopover in Aschaffenburg

Our flight from Frankfurt to Calgary leaves tomorrow at noon. To make the long car journey more relaxed and to avoid having to start at night, we decided on Aschaffenburg and stayed here in the B&B Hotel. Small but OK. We had to maneuver the suitcases a bit and the girls couldn't agree on who should sleep on the top bunk bed. In the end, Jette got to sleep on top ;-)

Since I had forgotten my bikini, we had to make a quick trip to the shopping center. Then we took a short walk to Johannisburg Castle and looked out over the Main and the folk festival on the other side of the Main. We also found a small playground.
