Another very beautiful and again a bit challenging hike up to Lion‘s head with ladders and chain ropes. Started not too late with climbing up Lion's head first which seemed to be a very popular hike among also young people! Think that this was the hike where we've met the most people on the way up and down - and also any kind of hikers: younger, older, fit, rather unfit and most diverse, with all nations and all colors. Martin stayed down below at the Kramat path where we picked him up after coming down from the summit climb and then went over to Signal Hill. That's probably the best place to watch the hang gliders start off to fly above the Cape Town bay, awesome to watch the starts and glide offs into free air!! Our plan after that was to head straight to the German Dinkelbakery again to ge another nice piece of cake, a coffee and proper smoothie. Long faces when we realized they close early on Friaday afternoon... so a quick Snicker and a coke from the deli next door had to do (otherwise my mood goes down the drain running soooo low on sugar s, hihi...). So we fetched the car and drove back to Sea Point and had our (late) coffee brak over there with a last nice long view onto the ocean. Quick showers and then we finished that beautiful last day of these awesome and unforgetable vacation with a super dinner at our hotel restaurant. We really hope to return to this wonderful place again!
