Today we packed up our tent in Reykjavik and drove to the Lava Tunnel. There we had a tour through the 5,200-year-old tunnel. It was really interesting and beautiful.
After that, we drove to the Kerið Crater. Due to the sun (The first time good weather), the lake in the crater looked absolutely beautiful. Unfortunately, there were a lot of tourists there.
Next, we stopped at a small, really cute church. Totally secluded, but very beautiful.
Finally, we drove to the Þingvellir National Park. There we walked around for a while and also visited the Öxarárfoss waterfall.
Originally, we had planned to drive a little further, but in the end it was already quite late, so we set up our tent at the Þingvellir campsite. Unfortunately, there was no proper kitchen there, so we had to resort to cup noodles. But it was a totally beautiful campsite with a great view.
Until then
