After two days in Sydney, I'm already on the plane again.
The trip is also a pretty good therapy for my fear of flying, and Tamy is a pretty good therapist.
She holds my hand when necessary, but leaves me alone when she notices that I'm doing well.
With this third flight in a short period of time, I was much more relaxed. No panic and no anxiety, that's a huge accomplishment for me!
We are now heading to Perth, in the west of Australia.
Aside from the long sandy beaches, we are especially drawn to the cute little quokkas, the always smiling animals. Because you can only find them on Rottnest Island in the west.
On our first day in Sydney, we spent time at the Taronga Zoo to familiarize ourselves with the animals living in Australia.
Aside from the many creepy crawlers, we're looking forward to kangaroos, koalas, penguins, and dolphins.
Let's see what else we come across.
On the second day, we did a hop on hop off bus tour of Sydney.
Since we'll be spending New Year's Eve and a few more days in Sydney, we were able to explore the city today and note down what we still want to see there.
