We have now spent almost three days in Singapore and I must say, the city has truly impressed me.
Even at the airport, it is pleasantly quiet and noticeably clean. We also noticed this in the city center, no paper on the ground, no cigarette butts or anything else.
The numerous buildings that reach sky-high are especially impressive at night!
The whole city is also decorated for Christmas and everything is lit up, with Christmas songs playing in the cafes.
However, the sultry 31 degrees make it difficult for us to get into the Christmas spirit.
The time difference has also taken a toll on us, which is why we had a very relaxed three days there.
We explored the city on foot and spent a lot of time at the Garden by the Bay.
There, you can walk through the garden without having to pay an entrance fee and find great spots with a perfect view of Singapore's landmarks.
You can also enjoy the impressive light show.
On the last evening, we took a night bus tour followed by a boat ride.
There, we experienced the impressive buildings and the atmosphere of the city from a completely different perspective.
Then, at 3:15 am this night, our alarm clock rang and we made our way to the airport because our flight to Australia was departing at 7:05 am.
Despite my successful flight to Singapore, I was extremely nervous again.
But Tamy took me by the hand and off we went.
The seven hours on the Singapore Airlines plane flew by with a good movie and delicious food.
