Der Arches NP

On June 10th we left Capitol Reef NP and headed to Moab (about 130 miles). Moab is right at the entrance to Arches NP, which was next on our list.

Arches NP does not impress with its enormous scenery like Bryce Canyon or Capitol Reef NP. Arches spreads its highlights over a larger area that you have to drive through. From the defined viewpoints you can then take short hikes to see the promised impressions/rock formations. Or directly from the parking lot (quintessentially American).
