Excursion to the Antelope Canyon

Some hotels limit the number of Wi-Fi devices per room. In Las Vegas you could buy additional activations, but this was not possible in the Maswik Lodge in the Grand Canyon. Therefore, the report and the pictures from the detour on the way to the Grand Canyon to the Lower Antelope Canyon near Page are slightly delayed.

The tour must be reserved or pre-booked. Spontaneous attempts are rarely successful. Tours for photographers are only available in the Upper Antelope Canyon, but they are booked up well in advance.

The tour through the Lower Canyon was more of a mass procession. We went into the canyon in groups of 15 members each. It was hardly possible to take photos there. More like snapping...

No time to find the right perspectives, without people and in balance with the strongly fluctuating lighting conditions. Here is a selection of "snapshots" that were nevertheless quite successful.... Have fun.

The famous Horseshoe Bend was already closed to further visitors on Friday morning due to overcrowding.
