Whairanga Falls & Waipu Beach

Breakfast in the sunshine on the beach.

The sect has moved out except for their guru (is there a female form of guru?). The beach is empty and quiet, except for a madman who races up and down the beach in his car.

We head towards Whangarei. The next town we pass through is aptly named Ngunguru 😂😂

We make our first stop at the Whangerei Falls and are amazed by the impressive waterfall.

In Whangarei, we do some shopping for the last few days and decide to continue driving to Waipu-Cove,

where we already stayed for one night on the way there. We get a spot behind the dunes by the sea and spend the rest of the day on the beach.

Evening barbecue and finally it's warm enough to sit on the beach in the evening.
