Pahia & Tutukaka Beach (Bay of Islands)

Wake up with a view of the .... trees and the sunrise over the sea. The first time completely blue sky🤩

Calm has settled in on the campground and many have already left.

After breakfast by the sea, we set off south after the morning beach walk.

So far without a plan or destination.

We drive towards Pahia and find a nice little town (with free wifi🤗)

From here, passenger ferries go to Russel. Since the way to Russel by car is quite far, we continue to the Tutukaka Coast. Here there are supposed to be some pitches by the sea.

After driving to the first 3 places and not finding a nice or free spot, we find a spot by the sea with a sea view at the last place in Wellington Bay.

Since today is Sunday, it's a crowded beach. But we assume it will be empty tonight.

Unfortunately, we have to realize that Jürgen is weak and doesn't have the wine supplies in mind. We will probably run out tonight. I've never seen that happen to Jürgen before😂

Otherwise, it's another dream spot here🤩 .... but it turns out that we are probably next to a sect that starts singing with very strange songs at sunset.

One of them is also trying to be a fire artist, but we are afraid that he will catch fire because he can't do it at all. So funny, despite not having wine, we have never needed him more than today.

When it's dark, some people start juggling fire.

The one who couldn't do it earlier has a remote-controlled plane with lights, which crashes into a tree right next to us 🫣 the plane is even in the photo🤭

The trance chants go on until 10 pm.
