Tag 041-044 "Finally weekend & on to the next mission"

Finally WE!😇

After a challenging week, we have truly deserved the weekend 😉.

It takes a bit to understand how to better organize this journey. Malaysia has brought us a long way.

We enjoyed our Saturday and Sunday at the beach. A great change was meeting family and friends on an improvised football field. With plenty of commitment and a lot of joy and warmth from the whole crowd, the weekend left a lasting impression. 😍

From Monday 12:30 pm, our new mission is Bangkok, Thailand.

We take the ferry ⛴ to the mainland from Kuala Perlis by taxi 🚕 to Padang Besar. And from there, a 17-hour train journey 💤 🚞 🛏 through Thailand to Bangkok.

That's our next destination for 4 days.

The train was surprisingly spacious. And everything was organized. With nice conversations at the neighboring table, reading while looking at the lush green rice fields, and the quite comfortable bed, the 17 hours were bearable and a hot tip as an alternative to ✈️ & 🚌.

It was an old diesel locomotive, which corresponds to the current emission standards of Bangkok ☝🏼.

Too bad ☹️

Despite the pleasant journey, the ride did not pass by without a trace, a real bed is still a real bed.

Upon arrival at the hotel, we will now go in search of food and then relax for the day.
