Norway Day 2

In the morning it is still very humid and cloudy. Slowly the sun is breaking through more and more. We are chilling at the Telemark Canal, where we spent the night. We are browsing travel guides and researching on the internet. Bike or rent a boat? Today or next week? And, the crucial question, which glacier are we going to visit? Slowly the different puzzle pieces are coming together to form a coherent travel route.

In the afternoon we drive past the Hogga lock and fill the 100 liter tank of our Grand California with Norwegian water. Then we continue on increasingly alpine small roads to Stavsro, where a large, fee-based parking lot (150 NOK) with a toilet and fantastic views await us.
