I start with a morning run through Hanoi: very high humidity and wet/slippery streets await me. At 7 in the morning, it's already busy - many vendors are already hard at work. Badminton is being played in the park and rehearsals are underway for some performance.
After breakfast, we head to the 'Trainstreet' - overall, a very great experience. The gatekeeper has a lot to do with the tourists...
Crossing the streets is constantly a challenge due to the heavy traffic. We actually want to do a hop on hop off bus tour - but it's only available from 16:30. So, we continue sightseeing on foot. 12 km later, we have visited the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the One Pillar Pagoda, the Literature Temple, and some parks, bought sesame balls on the street, and eaten mango.
In the evening, we go to the Blue Butterfly for an excellent meal.
Tomorrow morning, we will already leave Hanoi again - I will not quickly forget the different but at the same time triggered feelings that Hanoi's Old Quarter has evoked in me: wonder, curiosity, horror, adventure, countless smells, etc.
