Day 11 - San Francisco

A wonderful place on Earth. Just wow.

After our disaster yesterday, they even upgraded us to a new hotel. They gave us a better room on a higher floor. Great rooms.

After moving, we explored the city. First, we went to Pier 39. There we saw sea lions. Simply amazing. They are so funny, we could entertain ourselves for a long time.

The pier itself is also great. It has many restaurants and boutiques.

We went to a restaurant called Swiss Louis. It was so delicious. Ryan had the salmon and I had linguine with clams. For appetizers, we had calamari. They were so tender, like we've never had before.

Then we went to Historic Pier 45. We bought the American is Beautiful Pass there. With this pass, we can now enter any national park without paying an entrance fee. We need that for the camper.

On Historic Pier, Ryan gave me a private tour. The pier had old sailing ships on display. It was exciting to see it all.
