14 to Travemünde

Weather: Clear at departure at around 6°, then it became cloudy, with the occasional appearance of the sun. Before Lübeck, it even drizzled a bit.

Since I couldn't fly to Helsinki by plane with my e-bike, I decided to ride my bike to Travemünde. From here, there is a ferry to Helsinki. However, departure is not until 3 AM in the morning, check-in is possible from 9 PM and boarding is at midnight. So, I have to wait a few hours in the hall.

Today, I had plenty of time for my tour, especially since I started early. That's why I followed Nicole's advice and took a different route than suggested by Komoot. However, I often rode on bike paths right next to the main road until Mölln. These paths are nice and fast, but the noise from the nearby traffic is annoying. From Mölln onwards, I mostly rode through forests and nature, which was very relaxing.

Just a few kilometers before my destination for the day, there is Lübeck, a city I wanted to visit briefly. Because of the fresh air, around 9°, I only walked directly through the old town. Cycling is not allowed during the day. During that time, I couldn't pass by a café without stopping. That gave me the opportunity to enjoy something sweet to celebrate another stage goal.

After pedaling the last kilometers, I arrived at the Hafenhaus, where I can now write my daily report and warm up.
