11.1.20 Orewa Beach & me as a shell seeker

I'm chilling and found some great shells again. Unfortunately, no sand dollars. I walk along the beach for four hours on foot. Today it's soooo pleasant. 22 degrees, no wind, perfect weather.

There's a lot going on at the beach - probably 200 people on 4km 👍😎. It's wonderful to watch the fathers supervise their kids who are swimming 😉

It's great to watch an anemone in one of the tide pools, as it extends out from its inconspicuous tube to catch food, completely opens up and then retreats back in.

The traffic jam from Auckland crawls through the town - I'm glad I don't have to search for anything here today. So, those were the epochal events of today.

It's 4.30 PM now and time for a coffee in the sun 😊☀️⛱️🌊 And in the evening there will be a perfect full moon 🌝
