Boat tour on the Volta River

The two men we met yesterday afternoon wanted to go on a boat tour today. So the four of us set off for the Volta River; 20 minutes by car. For 225 Cedi (45€, about 10€ per person), we were allowed to ride on the river for two hours and enjoy the view and the wind. Although the weather was a bit cloudy today, it was actually perfect - not too hot and no sunburn 😊

The boat driver took us to a crocodile reserve. There were 7 large crocodiles and 15 baby crocodiles, which could also be fed with chicken. We bought a whole bag of mangoes (1€), which was our lunch on the way back to our car.

It was beautiful and the other two were cool people. Before and after the boat tour, we played cards, drank something, and chatted a lot. Unfortunately, they have left again, but it was nice to have met them! Without them, we probably wouldn't have rented a boat.

Tomorrow morning we will continue to Hohoe to the Wli Waterfalls🤗 The journey will be quite long and exhausting, because we have to change four times and I think it will take almost the whole day..

This evening we are eating fufu with groundnut soup (with our hands!) and making ourselves comfortable. We will probably go to the beach again as well.
